COMPLEX FOR ELECTRIC WELDING OF SOFT TISSUES IN SURGERY
Purpose of the development:
The complex is intended for welding soft tissues using high-freguency currents.
Advantages over analogues:
The operations are performed on a "dry" operative field with no use of suture material or clips.
The technology enables to reduce hemorrhage during an operation and time of surgery, as well as the time the patient is under anaesthetic.

Description of the development:
() The welded joint formation is based on the effect of thermal-electric denaturation of protein molecules. The surfaces of tissue layers to be welded are gripped by the welding tool electrodes. Then the welding current source is turned on. When welding is over and power supply is off, the tissue is released from the forceps. The process is repeated unitl the wound is fully closed. The complex consists of a power-generating unit, welding tools and special software for control of different organs tissue joining. The power-generating unit includes a high-frequency coagulator controlled by a feedback system and connected to bipolar welding surgical tools: tweezers, forceps and laparoscopes. The unit can be connected to special assembly fixtures.
