Maize is a stripper header , designed for threshing plant in the bud. It included ¬ prises a frame on which are mounted front drum ( beater - reflector ) , stripper drum and screw conveyor . Both drums are equipped with rakes . The front drum is designed to reflect the grain and transporting them into the screw cavity. Stripper drum serves as a direct ochesyvaniya plants in the bud. Rotation of both drums towards each other helps create a vacuum effect needed to align the stems of plants in the area tow. The screw conveyor is designed as a shaft and windings intended for the transportation of the grain mass to the feeder housing .
