RADIATION PROTECTION CONCRETE
Purpose of the development:
Development (Bethel m) is intended for the manufacture of a special coating biological protection against ionizing radiation and indoor facilities.
Recommended application field:
Metal-concrete will be used for biological protection against ionizing radiation of natural and artificial origin in health care, industry, construction, scientific research organizations.
Technical characteristic:
Compressive strength of samples of a special coating of Bethel is 10-5 m MPa linear attenuation coefficient m for Bethel energy gamma rays 60-1400 keV is 0,55-0,192 cm minus the first degree.
Advantages over analogues:
Through the acquisition of betel-m thickness of the screen conductive properties of photon radiation protection radiation decreases 1.8-2.4 times compared to conventional concrete at commensurate density. In the developing world there are special high-density materials with heavy metal fillers, but they are too expensive.
