The device combines the functions of a telephone switchboard , allowing devices and signal processing path . The main functions of the device : call waiting , automatic capture line , holding the corresponding number of lines before the caller on the air ; Broadcast one or two users , disabling subscribers. The device improves the quality of the live transmission . This is achieved by matching the input / output studio mixer with a telephone line on the level , resistance and frequency range , as well as by automatic adaptive suppression of unwanted signal path leading from the input device to a telephone path to the output ( or input) mixer . In addition , the device effectively suppresses unwanted acoustic feedback . Various modifications of the device introduced in several broadcasting organizations of Ukraine .
