Advantages over analogues: Development is executed based on the experience of designing laser devices in the Institute of Physics and can be estimated as the know-how. Technical and economic effect: Thanks to the use of simplified design and components mainly Ukrainian production, the price of the developed device will be about $ 500. This is an order of magnitude less than the price Western counterparts, which makes it attractive in the markets not only in Ukraine, but the CIS, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Operation of the unit is based on the simultaneous use of two methods: determination of incidence of the laser beam intensity testing , passing through a layer of smoke or aerosol and by small-angle light rasseyavaniya . Sign testing intensity of a laser beam , the angular dependence of scattered light intensity and the reference signal is produced with a TV camera connected to a computer which processes and presents the data obtained. The light source is a semiconductor laser , which can be powered from the USB port of a laptop , making installation a portable .
