METHODS FOR RAPID DETERMINATION OF MERCURY (II) IN THE WATER
Purpose of the development:
The development is designed to monitor industrial wastewater on the content of mercury (II).
Recommended application field:
Development can be applied in such industries as electrical engineering, metallurgy, agriculture, etc., as well as enterprises of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
Advantages over analogues:
There are no world analogues. The methods developed are characterized by high selectivity, rapidity and simplicity of execution without a preconcentration step of mercury (II) ions and related offices, as well as the use of special stationary equipment supplied from electric shocks.

tested in laboratory condition
Technical and economic effect:
Cost analysis of a water sample to the inventive method is in the range 0.5 Rs concentrations of 0.005 - 0.05 mg / ml.
Description of the development:
() The formulation methods for determining mercury (II) over a wide range of concentrations in natural and industrial waters put its interaction with the redox reagent 4 - sulfo -2 ( 4' - sulfonaphthalene -1' -azo ) naphthol -1 on the surface of cellulosic tissue materials in the presence of gelatin or dimethylsulfoxide . Water analysis of various categories and determining the concentration of mercury ion (II) can be carried out laboratory conditionsAbout ( field ) using visual colorimetric method based on the comparison of the color changes to the color of tissue samples prepared in advance color test - scale depending on the concentration of mercury (II ) .
Test determination of mercury (II) at the level of maximum allowable concentrations do not exceed 5 minutes.
