METHOD FOR DETERMINING CERIUM MICROCONCENTRATIONS (IV)
Purpose of the development:
The development is designed to determine the concentration of cerium (IV) in natural and industrial objects (rocks, sediment, pharmaceuticals, industrial designs, etc.).
Recommended application field:
Control of natural objects, pharmacy, metallurgy and other industries.
Advantages over analogues:
No world analogues. Designed volumetric method for indirect determination of cerium in objects of different nature is characterized by high selectivity and sufficient simplicity of execution without the use of fixed equipment, which is powered by electric current outside laboratory (field) conditions.

tested in laboratory condition
Technical and economic effect:
Cost analysis of one sample of the inventive method is less than 2 in a concentration range of Rs 1: 10,0 • 0,00001 mol / l.
Description of the development:
() The formulation is put mutual reaction redox cerium 4 - sulfo -2 ( 4' - sulfonaphthalene -1' -azo ) -1 naphthol in an acidic medium and complexation products redox reaction in alkaline aqueous medium atsetononitrilnoy . The concentration of the cerium (IV) in natural and industrial objects visually determine the volume of the separated organic phase of aqueous acetonitrile solution of said chemical system using pre otkalibrovanoy glass tube ( buret ) calibration curve constructed in coordinates " cerium concentration - the volume of the organic phase isolated " .
