Purpose of the development: Developed microbial biotechnology intended for oil spill soil and aims to ensure environmental safety soil in extreme situations of emergency oil spills.

Recommended application field: Development can be realized by the enterprises and organizations of different subordination, including the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, State Service of Ukraine of Emergencies, Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and private industry .

Advantages over analogues: From the combination of technical solutions developed by biotechnology dramatically different in degree and speed of cleaning soil from oil pollution, especially in extreme situations.

Biotechnology involves the use of biological drugs - immobilized by special technology on complex organic substrate pathogenic bacteria - destructors genus Pseudomonas, isolated from the environment . Biopesticide detects sorption and destructive activity for petroleum hydrocarbons . This biotechnology soil purification from oil products comprises the following activities : Stage I - the use of mechanical methods to the maximum fee of petroleum products. Stage II - rehabilitation of contaminated soil using biotechnological methods and biological product to reduce the concentration of petroleum products in the soil , its restructuring , recovery and water aeration modes . For this purpose, the contaminated surface soil layer is applied sorbents and biopesticide . After plowing with sorbents and biologic contaminated surface soil treated with liquid culture consortium of bacteria - degraders of petroleum hydrocarbons included in biopesticide . Completion of Phase II is sowing area herbaceous plants . To strengthen the effect of cleaning and remediation of soil held Green manuring , which increases the complex organotrofnyh microorganisms involved in the decomposition of plant residues and thus contaminated soil nourishes not only the final products of decomposition ( carbon, nitrogen , sugars, amino acids, etc. ), but and activity of soil microflora . Specified set of activities creates optimal conditions for degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons , creating a structured soil with vegetable component , reducing oil by more than 90 % in 80 days.
