DIAGNOSIS METHODS OF VINE CANKER BACTERIUM


Purpose of the development: The developed method is intended to diagnose bacterial pathogen cancer in plants grape vines and the soil in the soil plots for planting vineyards.

Recommended application field: Technology can be used in laboratories farms that produce planting grapes in facilities providing pest control, as well as in research laboratories studying the ecological peculiarities of plant pathogens.

Advantages over analogues: In comparison with similar testing method in the proposed development easier and cheaper.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Use of the method can reduce the amount of time needed for testing, as well as the cost of diagnosis.

Description of the development:

The diagnostic method of bacterial canker of grapes developed using test kits designed to detect pathogenic Agrobacterium in plants and soil by polymerase chain reaction . Bacterial canker pathogen pre withdraw from plant material or soil , were grown in a nutrient medium , and then use the test kit for carrying out a polymerase chain reaction test for the presence of pathogenicity genes . Application of the developed technique allows to increase the accuracy of diagnosis. Implementation of effective diagnosis prevents the spread of bacterial canker pathogen infected with grape planting material , as well as infection of plants through the soil . Application of this method of diagnosis of bacterial cancer of grapes allowed for testing of plant material and soil the grapes in the vineyards 21 of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova 6 households .
