RATIOMETRIC FLUORESCENT CHEMOSENSORS FOR HIGHLY SENSITIVE DETECTION OF MERCURY IONS (II) IN THE WATER IN REAL TIME
Purpose of the development:
Development allows you to monitor the presence of toxic contaminants (mercury ions) in running water in real time.
Recommended application field:
Services in charge of environmental protection.
Advantages over analogues:
Proposed Chemosensors characterized by significantly lower feedback on the content of other toxic metals. High sensitivity and fast response time and good reversibility of this chemosensor make it one of the best to date for determination of mercury ions in tap water in real time.
The development stage readiness:
Pre-production model is made
Description of the development:
() First, based on a 3-hydroxychromone embedded in a polymer matrix plasticized polybutene methacrylate was developed highly selective sensors with the mercury ions, which can detect the last in water at concentrations up to ~ 10 at -10 degrees mol / l, which is a hundred times lower than the norm adopted in the U.S. and the EU.
