INDEPENDENT MULTIFUNCTIONAL MOBILE PLATFORM


Purpose of the development: Autonomous mobile platform (mobile robot) is designed to perform various tasks emanating from the remote user, depending on the set of onboard sensors, can control the level of air pollution, lighting, noise in rooms to obtain and analyze acoustic and visual information about the state of the premises, building its spatial model.

Recommended application field: The proposed information technology and intelligent control the basic software of the control system can be adapted to various embodiments of the mobile platform , the executive bodies and sensor configuration with possible fields of application : - MP for autonomous monitoring of premises ( environmental control , security systems , remote presence , etc.); - Mobile mobile systems of physical and information assistance, including the disabled and the elderly ; - Laboratory training complexes for practical development of intelligent information technology and control systems; - MP for personal intellectual leisure .

Advantages over analogues: The user interface also allows you to create long-term plans of the autonomous activity of MR with different sets of missions (function mobile digital assistant). In addition, MR can function telepresence for remote control via Internet or WiFi.

Technical and economic effect: Implementation: The technology for remote use of MR via the Internet in the educational process of technical universities for laboratory work in the disciplines of cybernetic direction. We have created a working prototype of the MR experiment in remote control mode used by students of the Department " Robotic systems " MSTU. Bauman. The methods for performing multiple labs , where a provider MR heterogeneous sensory information about the surrounding objects for further analysis and interpretation by the methods studied by students in theoretical courses .

Description of the development:

An original two-module structure of the control system of the mobile robot (MR) , serviced by a distributed computing environment. Basic information processes management system is supported by two parallel functioning computer - laptop and computer on-board user - supervisor connected wireless network. Pretreatment busy signal microprocessors in touch CAN- nodes network and microprocessors control unit drives the movable platform and gripper . The basis of intellectual control system put a hybrid approach , based on behaviors (Behavior Based Robotics), developed activating subsystem implemented on the basis of biological " acceptor action" and to automatically decide on the appropriate local MP activity in achieving a global goal set by the user. Formation forecast expected state MR occurs on the basis of mathematical modeling of the functional components of the MR using knowledge about the object , the outer world and the rules of conduct in it. In the information processes used artificial intelligence methods for synthesis and recognition of images of different modalities . Computer 3D modeling is used for both the control system and graphical user interface capabilities , allowing it dynamically synthesized models of its surroundings and MR in it. Easy to learn and use MR unskilled user technologies are also supported speech recognition and synthesis .
