PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF FINELY DISPERSED POWDER OF CALCIUM-CONTAINING HEXAGONAL FERRITE

Description of the development: () A process for the preparation of finely dispersed powder of calcium-containing hexagonal ferrite comprises the preparation and mixing in stoichiometric ratio of starting solutions of water-soluble salts of ferrite forming elements, the obtaining of cryogranules by dispersion of the obtained aqueous mixture into liquid nitrogen, sublimation dehydration of the obtained cryogranules, and after that thermal decomposition of the obtained salt mixture to oxides and high-temperature ferritization process. During the preparation of starting solutions as water-soluble salts of ferrite promoting elements calcium and iron citrates are taken. For stabilizing of crystal structure of calcium hexagonal ferrite additionally lanthanum citrate is added. Before the carrying out of the final stage of ferritization process two-hydrogen barium chloride is additionally added to the ferrite promoting oxide mixture.
