METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE TEMPERATURE FIELD BY RADIATION DETECTING IN NARROW SPECTRAL RANGE
Purpose of the development:
Developed a method for diagnosing the temperature fields on the surface of a heated body is designed for recording body thermal radiation in a narrow spectral range using modern digital camera.
Recommended application field:
Metallurgy, energy, industry.
Technical characteristic:
1. Temperature measurement range, K: 1000 ... 3000.
2. Relative width of the working range depending on the reference temperature:
at To = 2000 K - 0.4
at To = 3000 K - 0.53
3. Relative sensitivity of the method: (1-3) • 0,0001.
Advantages over analogues:
Compared to global peers developed method provides sufficient accuracy and sensitivity at relatively low cost.
The development stage readiness:
Tested experimental exploitation order
Technical and economic effect:
Estimated cost of equipment for the implementation of the proposed method, at least five times less expensive thermal imagers.
Description of the development:
() Proposed method is based on applying the serial digital camera and pyrometer simultaneously developed technique of computer imaging. The developed method allows to measure temperature profiles in real time. The resulting images are processed on a computer package MatLab 7.0. Processing of the images allows us to pass on the distribution of the radiation intensity, according to Wien's formula, the distribution of temperatures. To calibrate the method used precision disappearing filament pyrometer.
