SELF-PROPAGATING HIGH SITEZ (SHS) PHOSPHOR MATERIALS BASED ON ZINC AND SULFUR
Purpose of the development:
The invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used for producing the phosphors. Provides increased density polycrystalline ZnS and its structure, as well as extension of the luminescence spectrum.
Recommended application field:
Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, enterprises and organizations engaged in the development and manufacture of new phosphor materials and pigments.
Advantages over analogues:
The main advantages of the SHS method of obtaining zinc sulfide over other existing methods - furnace, zone melting, deposition method, etc. - are primarily in its cheapness and a one-step, the relative ease of controlling the properties of final products, as well as the fact that the method is energy-and resource.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Technical and economic effect:
Price based phosphors zinc and sulfur compounds produced by the proposed SHS is 440 UAH. / Kg (for comparison - the traditional method - 770 UAH. / Kg, foreign methods - 1650 Rs. / Kg).
Description of the development:
() A method implemented by sandwiching the combustion charge, of compressed powders of the initial elements, in a closed volume under inert gas pressure at the initiation of combustion ignites in the layer charge of the same composition. In order to increase density and improve its polycrystalline structure elements starting powders take dispersity less than 10 microns in a proportion corresponding to the formula ZnS, igniting a layer placed at a distance of not less than 10 mm from the compressed and initiating combustion of the charge is carried out under inert gas pressure of 40-120 atm .
