Advantages over analogues: The invention is related to new chemical compounds, process for its preparation and the pharmacological action, has no analogues. dichloro tetraniatsingermany (IV) chloride exhibits pronounced cerebroprotective effect that is much greater than with the reference product - piracetam ("Pharmak", Ukraine).

Technical and economic effect: Thanks to a one-step synthesis, low energy costs, availability of raw materials in Ukraine for making connections, as well as its high cerebroprotective effect and low toxicity, the production of a pharmaceutical preparation developed seems profitable. Developers created pharmacological drug metabolic type - molecular complex germanium tetrachloride with nicotinic acid, which is recommended for the test as a means of pharmacological prevention of ischemic brain stroke. The method consists in the intraperitoneal injection of a coordination compound of germanium with nicotinic acid (MIGU-1) as a 1% aqueous solution at a dose of 130.3 mg / kg in 59.8 minutes to ligation of the common carotid artery.
