Purpose of the development: Development refers to catalysis, namely, catalysts for air purification from carbon oxide containing palladium, copper, galogenidiony, and can be used in individual vehicles (respirators, gas masks, etc.) and collective (prefix for conditioners, installation for sanitary norms of microclimate of industrial premises) respiratory protection against SB.

Recommended application field: KNO-SO/BT catalyst can be used in scientific institutions NAS and comprising RPE enterprises Ministry, in particular, thermal power, electrothermal production of aluminum, phosphorus, iron, steel, welding fabrication, etc.

Technical characteristic: The catalyst is designed to clean the air from carbon monoxide (CO) up to the maximum permissible concentration (MPC = 20 mg / cu m) for the initial CO concentrations not exceeding 15 MPC, ambient temperature (15-30 grad.tsel.) And humidity 40 -100%.

Advantages over analogues: Catalysts known brands AK -62 and AK- 64U produced industrially in Russia , allow for a long time to clean the air with a CO concentration of 300 mg / m up to sanitary standards , but high palladium content ( 2.4 and 4 wt . %) makes these catalysts are extremely expensive ( their price is more than $ 1,500 per 1 kg ) . In addition to reducing the content of palladium in the catalyst KNO-SO/BT (unlike counterparts in the composition of which is used as a carrier rather expensive alumina) was used , with slight modification , cheap natural basaltic tuff, produced in Ukraine.
