NEW RESOURCE AND ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES AND DEVICES, WHICH PROVIDES INCREASED THE LINING LIFE OF CONVERTER USING CHEAP GUNNING MASS
Purpose of the development:
New resource-and energy-saving technology and device designed to improve the stability of converter lining using cheap gunning masses in the steel industry.
Recommended application field:
Metallurgy.
Advantages over analogues:
No analogues.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Technical and economic effect:
Implementation: The technology has wide industrial test and is used in the normal process of steelmaking at PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog".
Results of Study: Technology hot relining 160-ton converters by applying slag skull using gaspowder inflating final slag cheap gunning mass based on unroasted dolomite using a special rotating gunning lance introduced in CCC JSC "Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog".
Description of the development:
() Developed and implemented a new resource and energy-saving technology and design scull lance providing increased resistance lining 160 - ton converters BOF shops of " Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog " by applying slag skull using gaspowder inflating final slag cheap gunning mass based on unroasted dolomite.
Patenting , competitive results : Obtained in 2010 Ukraine declarative patents of utility model number 50940
" Gunite - lance relining converter " and number 50942
"Method relining converter " (authors - Chernyatevich AG , etc.). Owned by DSTU , introduced in constant commercial operation in BOF shop JSC " Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog " .
The economic attractiveness of development for market promotion , application and realization, parameters, price : the economic effect of $ 5477379 USD. ( 1.19 USD / t.stali ) due to cheaper gunning mass flow and save it to 0.87
kg / t steel.
