METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF THE FEED PHASE CONTAINING GERMANIUM AND GALLIUM IN A TRACE


Purpose of the development: The developed technique aims to establish the phase composition of raw materials containing gallium and germanium as a trace, which are confined to the phases - the carriers of macro.

Recommended application field: Development can be realized in enterprises and scientific institutions of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, non-ferrous metallurgy and energy, private industry and science.

Advantages over analogues: Comparative analysis made on the basis of patent search reveals that the essential features technical solutions developed method has no analogues in the world.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: When implementing the developed technique in existing technology-ferrous metallurgy and energy is expected to decrease the cost of the finished product up to 20% due to improved technology.

The principle of operation is based on a technique developed by studying the behavior of germanium and gallium samples exposed to the various reactants in combination with heat, oxidation or reduction. Carried out tests of the developed technique enterprise JSC "Donmet" and NGO "Tehnodon" (Donetsk).
