MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND CONTROLS FOR CORROSION OF UNDERGROUND PIPELINES AND FACILITIES


Purpose of the development: Developed a contactless electromagnetic method of monitoring the status of corrosion protection of underground metal piping (defining the insulation , electrochemical protection , find locations corrosion ) , created a number of devices : portable ORT ORT + B to determine the placement of the electrical pathways and control of cathodic protection equipment type BIT OHR and its UA modification for non-contact measurement of currents , determine transition resistance and damage protective coatings , portable meters voltages and potentials VI , which are used for diagnostic studies of the main gas , oil , water pipes and other hidden conductive communications, underground pipeline networks.

Recommended application field: Diagnostic tests of the main gas, oil, water pipes and other hidden conductive communications, underground pipeline networks.

Methods and devices for monitoring and diagnostic examinations of protection of buried metallic pipes that can be used to locate and determine the coordinates and cables hidden under the covers conducting communications and related metal structures , NDT state of corrosion protection , corrosion detection locations . To implement these methods are created : - Equipment BIT 3 BIT K2, EELS , BIT- HF contactless current measurements , determine the location and depth of underground pipelines ; - Single-frequency signal generators GPN- 320 , GPN- 280, of OH , GIVE , MSG and the dual-frequency type of OH -D2 -90 surveys in the absence of current cathodic protection ( CPS ) or in areas with high levels of electromagnetic interference ; - WHO portable kit for measuring ground resistance and soil resistivity , protected from the effects of stray currents ; - The original device to determine the direction of current CPE in underground steel pipelines contactless method ; - IEP indicating devices for fault location ( breaking) of underground cable , insulated electric wire concealed and the like; - Unit selection and accumulation of measurement information for shape analysis of analog signals ( BONY - FAS) ; - Digital voltmeters OP-1 , OP-2 for electrometric contact surveys of underground metal constructions , control potential polarization , special GDP to measure the polarization potential with the withdrawal of resistive component ; - PZNN device for protection of buried metallic structures in the zone of influence of the induced voltage from power lines and other foreign sources; - CIC device for routine measurements of electrical potentials and depth of underground piping ; - Portable ORT for contactless search , location , axis direction and depth assessment of underground pipelines and other hidden conducting communications. Their location is determined by the indicator signals when turning or moving ORT. The device is protected from exposure to power lines and obstacles industrial frequency , works reliably on the slopes of underground pipelines within range of CPS (or current generator ) without connections to the pipe or the ground, regardless of the condition of the surface soil ( dry or wet rocks , sand , asphalt, snow and etc. ); - Portable ORT + B ( further comprises a digital voltmeter to control the electric polarization ) . The device is configured in a compact package without additional antennas , headphones , easy to manage .
