Description of the development:

BIT allows DPC without connections to the pipe and the ground to measure the electric current passing through the line and determine the direction and depth of the pipe. The measurement results are recorded in electronic memory and transferred via an interface to a computer for processing and documentation . The apparatus works in the zone of the cathodic protection station ( RMS or power generator ), regardless of the state of the ground ( dry or moist soil , sand , asphalt , etc.). This allows you to quickly assess the loss of current RMS on different filaments and pipelines , the state of insulation coatings , pipe components transient resistance -to-ground insulation defects and identify likely locations of corrosion to anticipate and prevent damage to the pipe , increasing the reliability and service life extension of expensive pipeline systems. BIT- KVP or BVS complete with PC and EP -2 or ORT + B2 constitute the instrumental part of the electromagnetic data - measuring system for ІVS EM surveys of corrosion protection of underground pipelines by contactless current measurements with the rational use of contact electrometry . Novelty designs protected by copyrights and patents . Technology and tools are designed with the practical needs and the actual conditions .
