Purpose of the development: This invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing metal powders, granulates, including metals that create oxidative film.

Recommended application field: The utility model can be applied in research of thermal processes, metallurgy (in many processes, especially the casting, rolling and forging), metal, power control is widely used processes, mechanical engineering (using the method for balls for ball bearings), petrochemistry and so on.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed method has several advantages over similar products based on stimulated capillary jet breakup. The method of dispersing the jet of liquid metal which is exposed to the jet of the magnetic field and electric current with a frequency of excitation of the capillary jet decay. Between the electrodes and the stream of liquid metal arc is initiated, it is carried out using a pulsed electric current passing through a small portion of the jet, which is interrupted by pressure of the pinch effect, which separates the desired part of the jet for the formation of a predetermined size obtained by dispersing granules.
