ANODE ALLOYS COMPOSITIONS FOR CORROSION PROTECTION OF STEEL STRUCTURES


Purpose of the development: New alloy compositions are designed to protect steel structures from corrosion and electrical materials like shell power electric cable and wire.

Recommended application field: Hydropower, engineering, municipal service.

Advantages over analogues: Designed alloy compositions are characterized by high efficiency of use, which is 85-95%, and ensure an adequate level of protection against corrosion of steel structures.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: The expected economic effect of the introduction of aluminum projectors Varzob HPP-3 cascade was U.S. $ 5363.56.

Studied the electrochemical corrosion and mechanical properties of alloys of Al-Fe and Al-Mn, doped with rare earth, alkaline earth and rare metals scattered. New data on the mechanical, electrochemical, acousto damping and thermal properties of these alloys. The dependences of mechanical, acousto damping and thermal properties of these alloys. Including first undertaken a systematic study of electrochemical corrosion behavior of alloys of Al-Fe, Al-Mn, Al-Mg concentration of chloride ion medium. Developed new alloy compositions as a protector for protection of steel structures against corrosion and electrical materials like shell power electric cable and wire. Of the developed anode alloys cast prototypes projectors are installed on HPS-3 Varzob cascade for corrosion protection of steel structures.
