PADDOCK-PORTIONS SYSTEM FOR CATTLE GRAZING USING ELECTROSHEPHERD


Purpose of the development: Preventing the negative impact of grazing on grass and condition hay yield increase per unit area.

Recommended application field: Beef cattle industry.

Technical characteristic: Pasture is divided into sections which are alternately separated by a portable electric fence that a perimeter. Each paddock equip two gates in width from 6 to 8 meters. In the paddock is equipped drinker, feeder for mineral and concentrated feed, hay and straw.

Advantages over analogues: Herbage yield by 11.7% higher than in the free ranging.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Ensures the preservation of pasture resources, improved growth and recovery grass hay. Yield fodder units. 1 hectare increased by 18.5%. Gross production livestock production grows by 25.3%.

By-batch system paddock grazing beef cattle corral discharged within small areas, designed to bleed them for 1-2 days. When batch-paddock grazing fresh grass consumes daily. When using high-cultivated pastures day reserves are divided into separate sections designed for grazing for 3-4 hours. First isolated in paddocks pasture daily rate and distribute it into portions using electroshepherd who transferred several times during the day as grazing pasture grasses. The system is designed for farmers engaged in cultivation and the cultivation of beef cattle in loose-year-round content and livestock rearing technology of beef cattle (lactating rearing calves up to 6-8 months. Age).
