METHOD OF ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION OF HEIFERS IN THE FORM OF CLOSED PELLETS


Purpose of the development: Playing cattle in artificial insemination of heifers.

Recommended application field: Artificial insemination of cows.

Technical characteristic: The developed method includes preparation technique of semen and insemination of heifers with a special disposable instruments.

Advantages over analogues: The developed method provides a higher level of efficiency insemination. Fertility heifers using development was 85.3% from the first insemination. In the group where the insemination was carried out open granule epitservikalnym traditional method, a figure 59.6%.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: The increase in yield of 25.7% of calves.

Description of the development:

Artificial insemination of heifers in the form of granules enclosed includes preparing semen doses by increasing its volume by further dilution, insertion of the catheter into the vagina and the introduction of semen heifer gravity in the genital tract. The method is characterized in that the semen is used in an enclosed sealed envelope from which it is taken and transferred into a plastic syringe with a vial-sugar brine for additional dilution. Tests conducted in the developed method Zmyiv near Kharkiv region, "SVK Ukraine."
