SPECKLE INTERFEROMETRIC MICROSCOPE COMPLEX FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF PHASE STRUCTURE OF SINGULAR LIGHT BEAMS


Purpose of the development: The complex is designed to diagnose the phase structure of the laser beams that have changed during the passage through optical fibers or optical systems of arbitrary structure.

Recommended application field: Production of laser technology, teaching and research equipment.

Technical characteristic: Diameter beams, which are tested, mm: 0.01-2. Precision phase measurements, p: 0.01. Measurement time, with: 1. Processing time, with 10. Overall dimensions of the complex, cm: 50 * 70 * 110. Gross weight of the complex, kg: 100.

Advantages over analogues: Advantage of the complex is that it is able to analyze the structure of not only common, but also singular laser beams, ie beams with phase vortices and unambiguously determine the magnitude and sign of the topological charge of the vortices. Foreign and domestic appliances this destination unknown.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Thanks to the use of simplified design and components mainly Ukrainian production, the price of the developed device will be about $ 1000, which makes it an attractive market not only in Ukraine, but the CIS, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Complex diagnoses using the fazomodulovanoy speckle interferometry (ESPI), for which the phase measurement of laser light is modulated in accordance with a predetermined algorithm, the measurement results as a set of fixed specklegrams a camera and processed by a computer to build up a picture of phase correlations. This analysis using the developed software package can uniquely determine the phase structure of the beam before and after passing through the optical system, and determine the phase distortions introduced into the beam system. The complex can be used to develop new anti-interference optical communication systems using singular laser beams, as well as teaching and research equipment.
