Purpose of the development: Flexible macromodel optical channel opto-electronic devices in the medium of language PSpice allows you to replace the experiment by numerical simulation of processes on a computer in the CAD environment (CAD), which allows to create a device with exactly the predicted properties.

Technical and economic effect: Development of high reliability is determined by the model of the optical channel, which allows you to create as soon as possible with the device accurately predicted properties and significantly reduce the cost of its development.

Description of the development:

Optical channel - all elements in the course of propagation of the optical signal from the device converting the electric current into radiation energy to the inverse transform unit. It includes an optical system, the channel passage of radiant energy, the reflecting surface of the object location, the sources of optical interference and spurious interference channel signal path. Model optical channel consists of emitter and receiver channel beam. Optical channel is replaced by a transmission line is lossless and controlled current and voltage sources, which reflect the energy relations at the input and output of the optical channel. The propagation of light in the optical channel is substituted for signal propagation in a transmission line - language element PSpice. The luminous flux is replaced by the value of the corresponding voltage. Modulation of the light intensity signal at the input optical channel corresponds to a proportional change in voltage at the input of the transmission line. To optimize the power of the emitter optical locators assesses the dynamic range and signal / noise ratio of the output signal.
