BIOTECHNOLOGICAL METHODS OF DESULFURIZATION OF THERMAL COAL
Purpose of the development:
Development is directed to the use of microbiological methods in biotechnology and improving coal quality characteristics due to the reduction of sulfur concentration.
Recommended application field:
Coal, industrial and mining enterprises, power.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed development has no analogues in Ukraine. Biotechnological methods of desulfurization of thermal coal produce less sulfur concentration from 20.0 to 90.0%, which makes this method is competitive in the domestic market, as opposed to the standard of physical and chemical methods (method of extraction of metals is in the process of patenting).

Technical and economic effect:
Development has environmental focus, refers to the energy and resource-saving technologies, allows to reduce the concentration of sulfur in the coal and energy at the same time receive an additional liquid and precious metals, which go into solution during the biotechnological process. In the implementation of microbiological desulfurization of coal does not produce toxic products; method is simple to use and does not require high labor and energy costs.
Description of the development:
() Reduced concentrations of sulfur using active microorganism does not require sophisticated equipment deficient reagents is carried out at normal temperature and pressure. Implementation of this method ensures the highest level integrated use of raw materials, preparation of additional rare and valuable metals, environmental friendliness and favorable economic indicators.
Prepared the documentation for the validation of microbiological methods for reducing sulfur concrete thermal coal.
Modeling conducted laboratory tests developed by microbiological method for reducing the sulfur content with NGOs "Tehnodon" (Donetsk).
