Purpose of the development: The test kit is intended for the diagnosis of bacterial canker of grapes in the vine, roots, sap and soil by polymerase chain reaction.

Recommended application field: Technology can be used in laboratories farms producing grapes planting materials in laboratories engaged in pest control, as well as in research laboratories.

Advantages over analogues: Characteristics of the test set compliant with current test systems for the polymerase chain reaction.

Technical and economic effect: The cost price of the test with the developed test kit three times less than the price counterparts, which makes attractive use of the test set not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.

Test kit contains two primers at a concentration of 0.5 mM each, four deoxynucleoside triphosphates (200 pM each) and 2 units of Taq-polymerase reaction buffer with cresol red and weighting, 2 mM magnesium sulfate. The application of this test kit provides an increase in reliability testing, simplifying the testing process, reducing the cost of diagnosis. Prepared guidelines for the implementation of the developed test kit to diagnose bacterial canker in plants and grape vines in the soil and in the soil plots intended for sealing vineyards. Carried out tests in the development of laboratories performing diagnosis of diseases of grapes. Carried introduction test kit to identify the causative bacterial canker in JSC "Odessa Cognac Factory", the Experimental Station quarantine of grapes and fruit crops PSI UAAN, Odessa.
