Purpose of the development: Elaborated regulatory and information management estimates of the components of aboveground biomass of trees and stands of the main tree species in Ukraine and the deposited carbon in them as the basis of information resources for sustainable forest management.

For scientific and practical purposes, the proposed algorithm of calculation and mathematical models for estimating biomass of wood and bark of trunks, trunks in the bark, biomass of pine needles and leaves, branches in the cortex, wood and green crown as a whole, as well as all the aboveground biomass of deposited carbon and synthetic and natural stands of Scots pine in the forest-steppe and Polesie, artificial pine on Lower Dnieper sands and Crimea, artificial spruce in the Carpathian Mountains, natural silver fir in the Carpathians, artificial English oak in Polesie and forest-steppe, natural beech forest in the Carpathian Mountains, natural and artificial European ash in the Right Bank forest-steppe, forest-steppe in hornbeam, natural and artificial birch, natural poplar trembling (aspen), natural and artificial sticky alder (black) in Polesie. Development is proposed in the form of forest taxation handbook on assessment of the components of above-ground biomass of trees and stands of the main tree species in Ukraine.
