MICROBIAL PREPARATIONS ABT - AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR INCREASING THE YIELD OF ONION


Purpose of the development: Microbial drug ABT is designed to increase the yield of onion.

Recommended application field: Agriculture (crop).

Advantages over analogues: Use of the drug ABT enhances product quality: in the bulb increases total sugar content in the 7-28% ascorbic acid and 20-40%, whereas the nitrate content is reduced from 9 to 26% as compared to control, depending on the variety and the conditions cultivation.

Technical and economic effect: When using the product in a production environment ABT GA "Experimental Farm Nosovskaya Breeding and Experimental Station Ismail NAAS" yield of onions rose by an average of 26%, the profitability of this crop has increased by 37-63 percentage points

Onions - important crop, the annual demand of one Ukrainian in which an average of 10 kg. Bow culture, rich in vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, and essential compounds possessing properties fitontsidnymi takes 13% of acreage allocated to our country for vegetable crops. An effective way to improve the productivity of vegetable crops by bacterization. Developed for this microbial drug ABT in which bacteria of the genus Azotobacter are at rest - in the form of cysts. Because of this drug has a long shelf life, and Azotobacter cells getting into unfavorable conditions (eg example, during a drought), do not lose their livelihoods. Biological product has the ability to stimulate the growth of vegetables, particularly onions, enhances the activity of nitrogen fixation in the root zone of plants, hampers the development of pathogenic fungi and bacteria. The effectiveness of ABT within three years studied in growing onions in the soil and climatic conditions Polesie dernovopodzolistyh legkosuglinkovyh soils, as well as in a typical chernozem soil and climatic conditions of the forest-steppe. The results showed that when using the drug in a Polesie three years of research increase in yield of onion varieties Strigunovsky Nosovskaya averaged 23%, grade Rainbow - 27%. Under the conditions of the forest-steppe yield of onion varieties Tkachenkovskaya increased on average by 25%, grade Rainbow - by 24%.
