METHOD FOR METALLOTHERMAL WELDING OF INSTRUMENTAL PLATE TO THE TOOL BASE


Purpose of the development: The invention relates to methods for producing billets welding tools and casting using metallothermic mixture and can be used for manufacturing preforms Derivatives instruments (e.g. incisors) and for thermite welding tool materials on the surface of workpieces in repair shops.

Recommended application field: Tool production (manufacture of cutting tools), repair manufacture (high hard surfacing and restoration of the details, the guide elements of machines, equipment), and others.

Advantages over analogues: This method of synthesis of high alloy is fully autonomous process, independent of complex and expensive equipment for the synthesis of large sources of energy and has a high speed and performance of the whole process (the time of combustion of the mixture lasts 20-30), which opens up opportunities for the use and thermite welding high-speed steel tool. Analogues of the composition of the mixture for the synthesis of instrumental metallothermic high-speed steels abroad not.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: Using metallothermic synthesis and deposition is economically feasible in cases where an urgent need (in seconds) to produce a liquid high-speed steel in specialized repair shops and even a "field" conditions. A method of producing an alloy hardening conditions and characteristics of the synthesized alloy also positively affected the properties of the synthetic and allow the use of steel cast thermite speed steel cutting process, showing better properties than the alloy produced by industrial technology.

Description of the development:

Method metallothermal welding tool inserts made of high speed steel to the bottom of the tool includes a process metallothermal reactions producing liquid alloy, which occurs as a result of burning thermite mixture and alumina powder. During the metallothermic reaction additionally used tungsten oxide powder and the resulting molten alloy, which is used for welding the plate to the tool base of the instrument is introduced ligature namely ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, ferromolybdenum, ferrochromium and cobalt. The method and technology that implements it, allow highly efficient receive high-speed steel under repair shops, workshops and other production areas, unsuitable for conventional methods of melting alloys, as well as an opportunity to carry out welding workpieces and components of high speed steel alloys. The degree of development of the technical solution of the invention is in the process of using experimental design, technological same preparation for the introduction of mass production takes 1 year.
