ORGANIC FUNCTIONALIZED FLUORESCENT NANOPARTICLES FOR IDENTIFY OF THE ABNORMAL CELLS

Purpose of the development: Development of bio-functionalized fluorescent and fluorescent nanoparticles (NPs) is of great importance due to their potential application as biosensors for molecular diagnostics.

Recommended application field: Detection systems in medical diagnostics, detection in vivo, research.

Advantages over analogues: Organic dyes, which are now used for Biomarker have advantages such as commercial availability and high quantum yield, but also the following disadvantages: a wide spectral band, a short time and fluorescence photobleaching. In contrast, nanoparticles containing rare earth elements and surrounded by a neutral environment to prevent toxic reactions, have narrow emission bands in the red and infrared, which is ideal for multi-channel detection systems in vivo, large Stokes shift in the fluorescence spectra and its long time. Bass also has the following innovative advantages: bright fluorescence photobleaching and low bass; LF can be readily applied to most types of fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry; simultaneous emission of two or more channels; the variety of sizes and emission bands; high specificity of lectin-LF to dying cells; possibility of conjugating various biospecific molecules to LF; high quantum yield and photostability.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Description of the development:
()
The authors developed a fluorescent nanoparticle containing a rare earth element (rare earth LF) which provides a green or red fluorescence, depending on the length of the absorbed wavelength, and polystyrene nanoparticles containing 0.5% fluorescein at its core (fluoro-NP), which provides vivid stable green fluorescence. Both LF were coated polymeric carbon chain functional surfactants peroxides (FPAP) bearing reactive epoxy groups necessary for isolation of fluorescent nuclei and allowing conjugation of proteins specific to the NP surface. Contributors to konyuguirovali NP surface lectins capable of specifically recognizing cells that die by apoptotic or necrotic. These LF effectively exhibit apoptotic and necrotic cells and provide a bright and stable signal.
