SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF VANADIUM (V) AND SELENIUM (VI) IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTS


Purpose of the development: New methods are designed for simple, rapid determination of the concentration of vanadium (V) and the selenium (VI) in water of various categories and complicated macro composition of the object.

Recommended application field: Determination microconcentrations said objects of various metals in naturally occurring (natural and industrial waters, agricultural food and feed products, pharmaceuticals and medicinal plants); environmental assessment of contaminated wastewater enterprises producing rubber, chemicals, glass, ceramic and lacquer ware, as well as products of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and oil refining.

Advantages over analogues: Analogs of the above methods of determination of trace metals, toxins using Karmazin in the world's scientific literature. These techniques are original in terms of ease of implementation, rapidity, efficiency and environmental safety.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: The economic attractiveness of the development is based on the use of organic reagent - Karmazin (acid chrome red 2C azorubin), which in world literature is known as a food colorant E 122. Its cost is about 300-400 USD. per kilogram. Also, the implementation of the developed techniques do not require the use of expensive organic solvents or physico-chemical equipment.

The method of determination of these metals are highly Karmazin and an express by eliminating the time-consuming steps of masking related ions and / or separation of macro fundamentals of the analyzed sample. They allow for the study of physical and chemical transformation of real samples of food and medicines in the analytical sample in terms of physico-chemical characteristics of V (V) and Se (VI), with subsequent spectrophotometric determination using Karmazin in the presence of accompanying elements.
