OPTOELECTRONIC METHOD FOR MEASURING OF SPEED
Purpose of the development:
Development relates to measuring equipment, namely to optical methods of measuring the speed of movement.
Recommended application field:
Development can be used in instrument making, space technology, transport and mechanical engineering in the remote measurement of speed zoom in / out, collision avoidance and docking of various objects.
Advantages over analogues:
The developed method has the following advantages: simplifying the creation of the field of view of space and structures for its implementation by eliminating the use of complex optical components and moving machinery. Develop analogues were found.

The economic effect is achieved by using remote method for measuring speed, which reduces the probability of accidents in systems with moving objects, enhances safety and eliminate material losses and casualties.
Description of the development:
() A method of measuring speed lies in the fact that the surface of the object illuminated by the light flux is measured and the reflected light radiation, wherein the emitter and photodetector are mounted on the base spaced apart from each other so that their fields of view overlap and form a zone of sensitivity. The sensitive surface of the photodetector is set scanning grating that modulates the signal being measured, and the measured period or frequency of the pulses which arise when the distance between the transducer and the reflecting surface.
Designed and manufactured an experimental model of opto-electronic meter speed. The sample was introduced into the research laboratory "sensors and data acquisition systems" (NIL "DSU"). The laboratory results showed that the method enables remote measurement of the speed of the translational motion in the range of 0.1 to 5.0 m / s.
