MODERNIZATION OF ZAZ IN HYBRID VERSION


Purpose of the development: The project is dedicated to energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of cars through the use of renewable and alternative energy sources. Unlike existing electric and hybrid vehicles results of the study can be implemented in a segment of Low Cost (affordable) through the introduction of the original hybrid power plant. The project envisages the development of applications in the field of energy-efficient automotive, including both theoretical research related to improving the concept of creating environmentally friendly vehicles, and practical development of a hybrid vehicle based on the serial car ZAZ Lanos. The project will also develop a system for charging traction batteries from a standard power supply 220 V, 50 Hz.

Recommended application field: Scope - Automotive. In Ukraine and abroad has no analogues hybrid propulsion system of the vehicle, which combines the latest technology in the field of: modern energy sources (batteries), traction motors and generators, voltage converters, battery charge systems, control systems, etc. and thus has a "budget" cost. Implementation of the project will contribute to the development of new advanced technologies in the development, implementation and operation of environmentally friendly vehicles, as well as the growth of the international authority of Ukraine in the field of education, science and technology in the world.

Technical characteristic: The main technical characteristics of the developed experimental prototype hybrid car ZAZ Lanos Hybrid obtained during its road test under real traffic conditions in the city of Kharkov: run on electricity - 40 km, the maximum speed on electricity - 11.11 m / s (40 km / h), the fuel consumption in the hybrid driving mode to run in the range 60 km - 3 liters / 100 km, the consumption of electrical energy in the electric mode in urban driving conditions - 130 Wh / km, while the battery is fully charged from the power supply 220 V, 50 Hz - 6 hours, the power consumption of the network during the charge does not exceed 1750 watts. The control system powerplant developed hybrid car provides a standing start, starting and acceleration to a speed of 11.11 m / s (40 km / h) on electric power. During the subsequent movement speed set by means of internal combustion engines at a higher transmission mode of the base vehicle. During braking control system ensures the recovery of kinetic and potential energy of the car, carrying recharge batteries. In case of lack of electromagnetic braking torque of the electric machine is connected nominal hydraulic braking system of the vehicle.

Advantages over analogues: Thanks to the concept of creation of environmentally friendly vehicles and practical comparative study developed a hybrid car ZAZ Lanos pickup Toyota Prius production car was eliminated a number of unsolved problems and shortcomings of modern hybrid propulsion systems, such as: 1) significantly reduced the cost of the power plant, and the payback period developed hybrid power plant is 2 years or 20,000 kilometers. The high cost of existing hybrid and electric vehicles does not pay off at the expense of the savings of fuel and energy resources virtually throughout the life cycle; 2) improved environmental friendliness installation because developed hybrid car running on electricity, which is determined by the power consumption of batteries and their modes of operation, much higher than the mileage of the car Toyota Prius; 3) increased efficiency batteries 15 ... 20 ... 80% to 90%. The main advantage of the treatment, in contrast to the series hybrid vehicle, is affordable. In this case, the technical characteristics of the developed hybrid car, such as fuel consumption and environmental safety, do not concede production cars Toyota Prius, a driving range on electricity exceeds the Japanese equivalent to more than 15 times. The results of studies correspond to the wishes of the most demanding customers, timely, have global significance and novelty, so are relevant not only for Ukraine, but also for all countries of the world.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: Compared to the base analogue 3 times increased fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness, and cost of the car increases in series production no more than 30 000 UAH compared to the base car. Payback period of the hybrid power plant is 20 thousand. Km. Calculating the cost components that are used to build traction electric hybrid power plant, showed that in serial production the cost is 21 000 UAH, in terms of pilot production - 33 000 UAH (as of 02.2014). The main advantage of the developed hybrid technology is a low cost hybrid car that serial production will be 3 times less than the cost of car Toyota Prius. At the same time some characteristics developed hybrid car ZAZ Lanos pickup (for example, fuel consumption and environmental safety) is not inferior to Toyota Prius, and run on electricity exceeds more than 15 times since the Toyota Prius is able to overcome on electricity is not more than 2 km .

The main objective of the project is to modernize the mass of the car ZAZ with a manual transmission in a hybrid version. Theoretical problem to be addressed is the development of the concept of creating environmentally friendly vehicles and determination of perspective directions of development of energy-efficient motoring. Practical tasks addressed by the project are to develop traction drive, which will operate in a hybrid vehicle propulsion system and includes a traction motor valve, energy-intensive lithium-ion batteries, an inverter to convert the mutual DC to AC, control system hybrid power system battery charge from a stationary electric network 220 V, 50 Hz, and others. The practical value of the results leads scientific and practical basis for solving the problem of energy efficiency and environmental performance of vehicles on the modern scientific and technical level. The project includes all the stages of the innovation process a single "science - technology - production", as modern energy-efficient and energy-saving research and development the authors planned to introduce into the production process Research and Development Center Open Joint Stock Company "ZAZ" (CJSC "ZAZ"). Hybrid car built on the developed concepts will be entirely new qualities and characteristics that will improve the economic and environmental potential, make it competitive on the market of Ukraine and in the world. Feature and advantage of the developed hybrid car is that technical solutions are based on the creation of original design, circuit design and software developments and know-how of the project authors. Methods and tools that are used in the development, have the appropriate security documents and protected by patents. To determine the optimal control actions hybrid power plant at a given cycle ezdovomom used dynamic programming techniques and methods of the theory of vector optimization. In adapting the control law with the hybrid nature of the driving cycle used methods of neural network and neuro adaptive control. When conducting experimental studies have been used techniques and computerized diagnostic equipment computer diagnostics laboratory of the Department of automotive electronics. In this project is based on the scientific and technical approach: to create a hybrid car is advisable to choose cheap car ZAZ Sens type, ZAZ Lanos or others. The car itself and its existing power plant remain unchanged, only supplemented environmentally friendly BLDC motor which is powered lithium-ion batteries through a voltage converter. The developed control system hybrid power plant includes: control system traction-speed characteristics of the electric motor and regenerative traction, traction control system, engine speed modes, process control system charging / discharging the first traction battery, the system charge the battery pack, and others. The charge of traction batteries should be carried out in the parking lot of a standard electrical network of 220 V, 50 Hz. This will reduce the cost of vehicle kilometers on electricity. Replenishment of energy during the movement planned to carry out by the operation of the internal combustion engine and generator through regenerative braking energy in order to make maximum use of the existing stock of the kinetic energy of the car. The idea of a research project based on the fact that the extra-urban cycle of motion car operation occurs in the base and hybrid modes, and urban - in electric mode. The main working hypothesis of the project is to create a hybrid car that combines low cost with modern efficiency and environmental performance, particularly in the operation of a vehicle in an urban environment, in particular when driving in traffic.
