TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

RADIO SYSTEM FOR MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL OF THE BRIDGE STRUCTURES DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS (MS)


Purpose of the development: Non-contact measurement of the dynamic bridge structures for the purpose of diagnosis.

Recommended application field: Diagnostics bridges.

Technical characteristic: Dynamic factor of bridge structures is measured with a relative error of no more than a few percent (depending on the energy and other characteristics of the radio system, which is used in this case). Transmitter radio system has a capacity that can range from a few tens of milliwatts to several watts. Receiver sensitivity is of the order W, antenna gain - 20 ... 25 dB.

Advantages over analogues: Currently, the assessment of MS were mainly measuring the parameters of bridges under static loads, for example, a deflection of the bridge. The measurement process is time-consuming and not fully to determine the diagnostic features. Most of the existing methods of examination MS are devastating. Much more diagnostic information contained in the dynamic parameters of the MS, whose measurement using noncontact optimal radio systems several times reduces the time and costs of measurements and greatly increases their accuracy. As it increases the accuracy of the measurement information on the status of MS with less time and cost, the problem is urgent. The results of the project can be used for the construction of diagnosis of the condition of bridges, the need for which Ukraine is great.

The development stage readiness: tested in laboratory condition

Technical and economic effect: Depending on the type of MS measuring dynamic coefficient decreases 3 ... 4 times as there is no need to install a bridge plate (often at high altitude) contact sensors. Due to this, as well as by eliminating the destructive methods of investigation bridges costs of diagnosis can be reduced to 1.5 ... 3 times.

Description of the development:

To study the dynamic characteristics of the MS uses the radar system, consisting of spaced apart (or combined) with the transmitter and receiver antennas and a signal processing device. The basic idea of constructing optimal radar contactless measuring means is that they are synthesized as a system for tracking the phase of high frequency signal which is reflected from the bottom of the bridge structure. When vibrations of the bridge varies phase of the reflected signal. It can be measured with high accuracy. Since the phase of the signal is a function of the deflection of the bridge, it is easy to quickly record in computer memory behavior of the deflection at various points of the bridge. Such information is crucial for the diagnosis of MS. Technical proposal meets world standards in similar studies on dynamic objects.
