TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

TECHNOLOGY FOR DEOXIDATION AND FURNACE STEEL PROCESSING FOR PRODUCTION OF THE HIGH DURABLE WIRE ROD TO REDUCE THE BREAKAGE DURING DRAWING


Purpose of the development: The technology is designed to improve the manufacturing process in the production of high strength wire rod, namely to reduce breakage during drawing, but also to reduce the degree of phase separation and porosity during casting.

Recommended application field: Wire products.

Advantages over analogues: Analysis of the mechanical properties of the metal rod shown that when using nitrated possible to reduce the vanadium content in the steel without substantially deteriorating mechanical properties of the metal. These data suggest that a reduction in tensile strength experienced a metal wire rod with a diameter of 11 mm can be compensated by changing the mode of cooling. Without changing the cooling conditions experienced plastic properties of the metal wire rod as a diameter of 8 and 11 mm, somewhat higher, thereby improving volochimosti rod. The obtained results confirmed the nature of the influence of vanadium on experimental and comparative swimming trunks on the average content of martensite in the rod.

For steel wire with high carbon content, resulting in phase separation in the central zone of the preform, greatly impaired ability to extract material that leads to disturbances of the production process in the manufacture of wire. To solve this problem, proposed upgrading electromagnetic stirring system design, provided that the increase in the volume fraction of the globular portion in the central zone of the preform, thereby reducing the degree of porosity and segregation when casting steel for the manufacture of steel cord, and a ball bearing microalloyed steels (the degree of segregation of carbon is less than 1 , 10). To improve the mechanical properties of the metal wire rod used in Nitrovan reducing the content of vanadium in steel (relative to the target value) on: - 20%, which allowed us to obtain the tensile strength for the wire rod diameter 11mm - 1197-1206 N / mm, and 8 mm for the rod - 1228-1239 N / mm; - 30% - allowed us to obtain the tensile strength for the wire rod diameter 11mm -1166-1204 N / mm; - 40% - allowed us to obtain the tensile strength for the wire rod diameter 8mm - 1214-1235 N / mm. The possibility of using an alloy of 12 on nitrated steel degassing installation instead of cored wire filled with brand FeV80 ferrovanadium in the production of steels alloyed with vanadium. Reserve for increasing strength can serve as an increase in temperature on coils of wire rod handler.
