Purpose of the development: The purpose of the technical proposal is to reduce raw materials consumption (of milled peat) for the manufacture of pe at briquettes and to lower their ash content by enriching dried peat in the process of its ash discharge by air separation, that is innovative in the process of peat processing.

Recommended application field: The present area of application is Manevychy peat plant, the potential one is production lines of peat briquette manufac ture which are based on air-gas mine-milling dryers.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Innovative aspect of the present development consists in the enrichment of dri ed peat by means of its ash discharge by air separation directly in the process of peat briquettes production.

Description of the development:

The essence of the proposal is th e selection of the peat-gas flux of dried peat particles with higher speed floating, followed by their further delivery to the technological furnace. It improves the furnace operation and reduces briquettes ash content by 3-4%.
