Expert assessment of small hydroelectric power stations installation expenditure is based on the analysis of existing information on hydrological, topographical, geological and other characteristics of selected areas of rivers and visual survey sites under consideration. These parameters are roug hly defined as well as, technical and economic indices of hydroelectric power stations different placement options and their types. The problem of pla cing hydroelectric power stations is viewed in complex, taking into account issues of producing power, flooding control of lands, fisheries, recreatio n and other conditions.
