Purpose of the development: Rapid analysis of water and food for the content of heavy metals, organophosphate pesticides and cyanide in stationary conditions.

Recommended application field: - Environmental monitoring of the environment; - Detection of toxic substances in water and food; - Molecular recognition in devices such as "artificial language".

Technical characteristic: Threshold sensitivity: - In determining the number of ions Cu, Ag, Hg - not below 10 * 1/5 * 8 mol / L (1 g / l); - Determining the number of ions with Co, Cd - not lower than 1/10 ~ 7 mol / L (10 mg / l); - Determining the number of ions in Ni, Pb, Sn, Sr, Zn and others. - Not below 1/10 * 5 - 1/10 ~ 6 mol / L (1 - 0.1 mg / l); - In determining the number of organophosphorus pesticides - not below 1/10 ^ 9 mol / l. Registration Time - is not more than 15 min. The number of channels required enzyme - at least 4. The error in determining the concentration: - The measurement of individual toxicants - no more than 15%; - When measured in mixtures - is not more than 30%. Software - Windows 95/98/2000 approximate.

The principle of operation is based on measuring the biochemical activity at the same time for a number of enzymes (acetyl and butirilholinesterazy, urease and glyukooksidazy) and the determination of residual enzyme activity when exposed to heavy metals or pesticides contained in the test solution. For the measurement of enzyme activity using an array of electrochemical sensors based on capacitive structures electrolyte-insulator-silicon with a pH-sensitive layer of silicon nitride. Functioning multienzimosensora occurs through measurement of high-frequency capacitance-voltage characteristics at the same time for each individual sensor array and calculation using them flat-band potential of the silicon surface as a signal sensor response.
