Production of new diamond ruling pencils, which combine the advantages of natural and synthetic diamonds, but denied to their inherent drawbacks. This is achieved through the use of synthetic polycrystalline diamond having a hardness level of natural. Testing of new pencils, carried out on a number of enterprises of Ukraine and Russia, have confirmed their high durability and stability of the process changes. It is also characteristic that due to the constancy of the cross section of the crystal height of the working layer, new pencils effectively work up to full deterioration. Produced pencils with the location of the diamond layers and in the middle. Pencil with the location of the center of the diamond successfully perform precision molded editing thanks to precise orientation of the crystal and its small cross-section.
