Purpose of the development: Helium cryostat for optical and Mossbauer studies in the temperature range 4.2-300 K.

Recommended application field: Optics, Electro-optics, spectroscopy, optical-mechanical research.

Technical characteristic: Helium cryostat OMBBC-He5: - The volume of the helium tank kub.dm: 5.1; - The amount of nitrogen capacity kub.dm: 8.4; - The storage of liquid helium per hour: 36; - The storage of liquid nitrogen, h: 60; - The internal section of the working chamber, mm: 18h38; - The diameter of warm windows, mm: 18; - Cold windows diameter, mm: 16; - The diameter of the top flange of the cryostat D, mm: 300; Helium cryostat OMBBC-He10: - The volume of the helium tank kub.dm: 10; - The amount of nitrogen capacity kub.dm: 17; - The storage of liquid helium per hour: 72; - The storage of liquid nitrogen, h: 90; - The internal section of the working chamber, mm: 18h38; - The diameter of warm windows, mm: 18; - Cold windows diameter, mm: 16; - The diameter of the top flange of the cryostat D, mm: 400 *. * If necessary, the amount of helium capacity of 10 liters can be created by increasing the height of the cryostat with D = 300 mm.

Sample cooling occurs by heat exchange with the working chamber of the helium tank. Temperature regulation and control by means of the chain consisting of a heater and a temperature sensor. At the bottom of the cryostat Horizontal windows. In the case of the cryostat for Mossbauer researches windows are made of Mylar, and optical studies - from a material transparent to necessary wavelength.
