CARBON NANOTUBES AND NANOFIBRES OF REFRACTORY COMPOUNDS
Purpose of the development:
The invention relates to the manufacture of nanofibrous materials and can be used in the design of reinforced composite materials, particularly ceramic matrix, and for making the superfine filter cleaning fluids, including corrosive.

Description of the development:
() Carbon nanotubes (C) and refractory compounds nanofibers synthesized both by chemical vapor deposition, (SiC, TiC, Si3N4, TiB2), or by direct synthesis in a flow tube reactor. The invention provides a simplified process of manufacturing nanofibers and nanofiber produces the required size and shape.
Reinforcement fluoroplastic carbon nanotubes improves its anti-friction properties and allows the creation of metal-tribological materials in the absence of oil at the sliding velocity of 1 m / s and pressure up to 2 MPa.
Using nanofibers of refractory compounds as reinforcement nitride ceramics improves its strength and fracture toughness of 2-3.
