Purpose of the development: Designed for non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics with instant results displayed on the monitor. Thickness Magna-Mike 8600 is ideal for measuring complex shapes. Measurements can be performed non-destructive method for products with a curvature radius of 0.79 mm. The display simultaneously shows the current measurement and the smallest of the previously measured. Thickness Magna-Mike is intended for use in the plastic packaging industry, but can be used to measure the thickness of glass and non-magnetic metals.

Magna-Mike 8600 - is a portable thickness using a simple magnetic method for the qualitative measurement of the thickness of non-magnetic materials. Procedure for measuring the thickness using a Magna-Mike is very simple. Measurements are made by a magnetic sensor disposed on one side of the tested article, and a steel ball (or washer wire segment) inserted into the container or other article. Magnetic sensor using Hall effect, measures the distance to the ball. Measurement results are immediately displayed on the screen of a thickness gauge. Thickness Magna-Mike Model 8600 easy to use handheld device for measuring the thickness of non-magnetic materials. This method is most effective when measuring on curved surfaces with a minimum radius of curvature and areas difficult products. Magna-Mike 8600 - ideal device for measuring the thickness of blood vessels with any degree of curvature and the surface of virtually any size. The accuracy of the device is not dependent on the properties of the material.
