SCANNER FOR ULTRASOUND CONTROL OF VALVE SKA

Purpose of the development: Scanner for ultrasonic testing of fittings SKA in conjunction with the universal ultrasonic flaw UD2-41 designed for ultrasonic testing of welded joints of reinforcement carried out in accordance with GOST 14098-85 in the construction of industrial and residential buildings.

Technical characteristic: Specifications: The range of motion of a rigid guide, mm - 60-180 Diameter controlled apparatus mm - 20-40 Operating temperature range, C * - -10 ... + 50 Overall dimensions - 225x45x30 Weight, kg - 0.3

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: The scanner provides the SKA in the process of monitoring: - Setting the distance between the PEP depending on the diameter controlled valves; - Setting the probe location under the control of a welded joint made of rods of different diameters; - Snosnost PEP relative to each other, and reinforcement bars; - The ability to move along and around the PEP-controlled rebars.

Description of the development:
()
The structure of the scanner for ultrasonic testing of fittings SKA includes a mechanical device and two piezoelectric transducer. A mechanical device is a rigid guide, fixed and movable holders. The movable holder is movable and fixed along the hard axis of the guide locking screw. The speaker system consists of two types of probe P121 emitting and receiving. Piezoelectric transducers are mounted in holders with invisible screws. PEP RF cable connected to the ultrasonic flaw detector. Setting up the scanner for control valves of different diameters made removable liner, concurrent AED pads and surface fittings of different diameters. ORDER OF BUSINESS 3.1 Releasing the locking screw to move the movable holder to obtain the required distances between AEDs, tighten the screw. 3.2. PEP Connect RF cable to the ultrasonic flaw detector. 3.3. Apply contact grease on pretreated sections welded fittings. It should be remembered that, to ensure a reliable acoustic contact is required to use a large amount of grease, as close contact with the rod of probe is not possible because of the reinforcement ribs. Contact with liquid can serve as a lubricant based on synthetic glue - CRA-CRA-1, or 2, or a special ultrasound gel. 3.4. Set on the scanner portion to weld rod so that emitting and receiving transducers are on opposite sides of the rod with respect to the weld joint, and make measurements according to the method described in normative documents. 3.4 For maximum amplitude of the signal is allowed to adjust the distance between the probe directly in the process control by means of the locking screw. 3.5 When testing of welded joints of reinforcement of different diameter is necessary to ensure the parallelism of probe pads and surface reinforcement for what unscrew a fixed holder, removable liner positioned between the rigid guide and the holder of AEDs, tighten the screw. Fixed holder with a fixed set of probe to the valve of smaller diameter. If necessary, the insert can be made by the user of the calculating the thickness of the removable insert is equal to half the difference of diameters welded fittings
