MELT PROCESSING OF POWDERED MATERIALS IN THE FOUNDRY INDUSTRY
Purpose of the development:
Developed and tested in a production environment equipment and technology can reduce the sulfur content in the steel to 0.008% in cast iron - up to 0.005%; oxygen - by 1.5-2 times; reduce waste castings for cracks and gas porosity in 2-3 times; achieve improvement plastic properties and toughness.
Recommended application field:
Foundry of ferrous metals.
Technical characteristic:
Bucket capacity - 6-20 m; the maximum stroke of the lance - 1800 mm; the angle of the lance vertically - 15-30 deg .; flow rate - 0.1-1.0 m / min; the powder - 1.8 kg / tonne; processing time - 3-5 min .; reducing the temperature of the metal during processing - 10-40 gr.tsel .; installed capacity - 1.5-0.4 kW; mass installation (gas cylinder) - no more than 450 kg; carrier gas - argon, nitrogen, air, carbon dioxide.
The equipment can be made for 6-12 months.
