Purpose of the development: Installation and process magnetically electroslag melting (IEP) designed to produce titanium alloys for the manufacture of aircraft, vehicle and cycle engines.

Recommended application field: Enterprises aviation system and motor.

Technical characteristic: Power - 724 kW; maximum current - 10 000 A; Voltage - 18 ... 60; Voltage Regulation - smooth under load; minimum residual pressure in the chamber - 1.06 Pa; induction of the external field in the area of fusion - to 0.45 T; plant capacity - up to 150 kg / h; maximum ingot diameter - 255 mm; the maximum length of the ingot - 900 mm; ingot weight - 205 kg; Diameter of the consumable electrode - 20 ... 200 mm; consumable electrode length - 1500 mm; Overall dimensions: 4300x2800x3800.

The installation for magnetically electroslag melting ingot heat-resistant titanium alloys. The installation consists of the following components: cabinet with control equipment; power source; thyristor control unit voltage smelting; vacuum system; frame with the column; a vacuum chamber; electromagnetic apparatus; removable molds.
