LASER-THERMOGRAPHIC SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE GEOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF DEFECTS AND HARD OF POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS OF INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES


Purpose of the development: Laser thermography is a complex technical system, enables remote control through non-destructive thermal diagnostics of remote industrial facilities.

Recommended application field: This complex and remote thermal imaging diagnostic technique can be successfully used in thermal, nuclear, chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas industry, gas transmission systems, electrical systems and machines, etc.

Advantages over analogues: The complex is unique in addressing the problems described.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: This complex is relatively simple to use, electronic components consist of the final designs, enabling easy set up production of these systems with the minimum financial and technical resources.

Description of the development:

Laser-thermographic complex technique and remote thermal imaging diagnostics are designed to solve the problem of identifying and determining the geometric parameters of internal defects (size, depth, etc.) removed potentially dangerous industrial facilities, calculation of their geometric and coordinate parameters. The complex consists of a thermal imaging camera, a laser range finder, a personal computer and software package. The developed method allows to evaluate the technical condition of industrial facilities as pipes, chimneys, cooling towers (thermal industry objects). Developed concept and sketches laser thermographic complex as well as a prototype. Designed and implemented software to calculate geometric parameters of defects. Developed and tested technique of remote thermal imaging diagnostics and flues using laser thermographic complex.
