Purpose of the development: ICAR 2006 - microprocessor device for recording and processing of ECG electrodes with a finger. Designed for rapid assessment of the functional state of the cardiovascular system of the person and to identify early signs of changes in the work of the heart under the influence of physical and emotional stress.

Recommended application field: It focuses on the massive survey in hospitals, diagnostic centers, health centers, sport and military medicine, research centers, as well as for individual use at home on doctor's advice.

Advantages over analogues: - Easy to use for self-control in the conditions of life and in sports; - Ease of implementation of mass preventive examinations (abbreviated the study - up to 30 seconds, requires no consumables); - The ability to use directly in the workplace to monitor operators in high-risk conditions (vehicle drivers, air traffic controllers, etc.).

Icarus-2006 - a portable electronic device with autonomous power supply, internal screen and a control element in the form of a joystick. The device implements an original method of treatment ECG, protected by patents of Ukraine. Unlike traditional, the proposed method makes it possible to "see" in the electrocardiogram even minor signs of pathological changes in the heart, which in conventional treatment electrocardiograms unnoticed. The device provides: 1. electrocardiosignal registration with the fingers of the test; 2. ECG mapping in real time on the inner screen; 3. store information on a removable flash memory card; 4. offline processing ECG in real time; 5. The implementation of psycho-emotional stress test; 6. The determination of the values ??of diagnostic indicators; 7. indication of deviations from the norm diagnostic indicators. The external program provides a display of the survey results in the form of cognitive symbol. This method allows on graphic images (mimic) the heart and autonomic nervous system to designate identified abnormalities in the form of a yellow or red color of the corresponding image. Devices equipped with an external battery charger, a standard device to read information from a flash card, an external ECG cable to record information with chest leads, removable disposable ECG electrodes and gel.
