Purpose of the development: Microelectronic product "Dalt" focused on the estimate of the distance to the solid-state objects in the near zone (from 20 cm to 1.3 m).

Recommended application field: Devices and systems associated with the assessment of the relative positions of objects in conditions of limited visibility.

Technical characteristic: Dimensions - 138x55x28 mm. Discontinuous measurements - 1 cm. Measurement error - no more than 5 cm. Measurement time - 1 ms. PC interface: USB and wireless Bluetooth.

The unit has three types of presentation of the results of measurements - on the LCD screen, audible tones, and voice messages. "Dalt" may be used as a basic unit in such products: - Device help orientation in space in low visibility or when avoiding obstacles for people with visual impairments; - Devices improve safety of vehicles or autonomous mobile systems in conditions of limited visibility or restricted maneuvers; - Control systems in different manufacturing operations that are related to the assessment of the relative positions of objects. Modifications are possible for other application purposes, including integration with other devices in heterogeneous computer and telecommunication media and other housing solutions and interface features. Information and communication solution allows: combining multiple devices "Dalt" for simultaneous operation; communication with the computer and other information and communication systems.
